Helping Twin Cedars Students Succeed Through Scholarships

 

Twin Cedars Dollars for Scholars is proud to be an affiliate of Scholarship America, a nationwide organization dedicated to helping students across the U.S. achieve their educational dreams.

Like other Dollars for Scholars chapters, we focus on supporting our hometown students by raising scholarship funds, managing endowments, and awarding scholarships each year.

Our chapter was established in 1989 by Superintendent Don Gilkerson and a group of dedicated volunteers. Since then, we've awarded hundreds of scholarships to graduating Twin Cedars High School students. Thanks to generous designated donations, we've recently expanded our reach to include college students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year as well.

We're a 100% volunteer-run organization, which means nearly every dollar raised goes directly toward scholarships. Our volunteers organize fundraisers, oversee the application process, handle finances, and complete reports-keeping our operating costs minimal and our impact high.
